Submission DEADLINES
• You may choose to submit up to 10 entries in total, which includes video submissions.
• Provide the title, medium, and desired print size for each image on your entry form.
• Give each photograph an appropriate title as these will be used to label your artwork in the exhibition.

PREPARING YOUR WORK FOR DISPLAY
To protect your photograph from bending or wrinkling, and to prepare it for framing, it is necessary to
mat your photographic artwork. A standard mat package is made of a window mat and a primary
backing board. The two boards are held together with a strip of linen tape along the inside of the edge.
• You can buy your mat board from the Daytona State College Bookstore, or additionally from any
local or online vendors. Your professors will demonstrate the process of cutting a mat for display.
The image above shows a standard 16x20 black metal Nielsen frame with mat (mat size should always match your desired frame size).
PLEASE NOTE:
The Southeast Museum of Photography will only supply frames/plexi at the following sizes:
• 16x20
• 16x22
Please notify the museum if you will be matting & framing your work to other sizes so we can ensure there is adequate space in the gallery.
