Join us in the lower gallery from 2-3 p.m. on Tuesday, March 19 to practice a series of invigorating and calming yoga poses, inspired by the artworks on display and by the Spring Equinox. Practice mindfulness, relieve stress, and learn how to balance your energy while taking a break from study or work.
This workshop, led by Dr. Heather Eaton, is all-levels friendly. Participants are encouraged to bring a yoga mat, yoga strap, and blocks if they have them, but equipment is not required for participation. Accessible variations and alternatives will be offered for all demonstrated poses.
Space is limited. Participants should plan to arrive at the museum 15 minutes before the workshop begins so that everyone will have time to check in at the reception desk. There is an event fee of $10 to participate in this workshop. Cash is preferred.
