BREAKING THE WAVES

Bess, a simple, devoutly religious Scottish woman finds a partner in Jan, an oil rig worker from Norway. When Jan becomes paralyzed from a horrific work accident, the relationship grows strained. Jan convinces Bess to have sex with other men, which she comes to believe is God's work.
